Young Money representative Karen Civil has spoken out against reports showing Lil Wayne allegedly holding a shotgun while on tour earlier this year.

"Please don't believe the TMZ hype.. ..Lil' Wayne would NOT carry a shot gun on tour, especially to showcase it around his younger fans. Young Money members play a game of pellet gun war, I even got in on the fun, as you can see in the picture above with YM President Mack Maine, I also own one. Seriously, people need to stop trying to hard so find fault in everything Wayne does. Why is it that no large media outlets picked up on the fact that Young Money/Cash Money gave out over 10,000 Turkeys to families in New Orleans for the Thanksgiving Holiday? Yeah Exactly.."

Lil Wayne's new album 'Rebirth' has leaked online after Amazon.com accidentally sent out copies of the album before its release date.'Rebirth''s release date was recently put back from this month to February 1 next year. However around 500 copies of the album were shipped early to customers who had pre-ordered the record, reports Billboard.'Rebirth' is Lil Wayne's long-awaited "rock" album, which sees him embracing guitars.The rapper is due to start a prison sentence for gun charges in February

The world was abuzz Saturday when news hit the net that Lil Wayne had been detained by Texas border patrol just months before his scheduled stint in prison. Although many were expecting the worst after drug sniffing dogs detected marijuana on his tour bus causing the Young Money founder and 11 members of his entourage to be taken into custody. Fortunately for him however he was set free and his lawyer reports that several of the people detained were given citations but Wayne was not one of them.
During the incident with Federal officials, Weezy missed a scheduled concert at The Laredo Entertainment Center. That performance has been rescheduled for tonight.
